My "Pregnantness"

Since we moved to Newcastle, I've had several friends and family members tell me I needed to put up a pregnant picture on our blog. I figured I'd give in this one time, just as long as people don't expect it to be a regular occurrence, haha :)

So, here I am at 30 weeks...

Personally, I think the black is quite slimming...I dare you to say otherwise!!!

Looking Back...

Sean and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on January 4th, the day before we flew out to Newcastle, UK for Sean to start medical school. When we got here, I realized that by the time Sean finishes school, we will have been married twice as long!!! So as we look forward to all that these next four years have in store for us (our first baby; living in England, Grenada, and who knows where else; Sean graduating from medical school; etc.), here's a look back at some of the highlights from our first four years together...

  • Hawaii

  • Cruise to Alaska

  • Graduating from BYU

  • Backpacking in Wind River

  • Texas
  • Cruise to East Caribbean

  • Bear Lake

  • Havasupai

  • Road trip to Arizona/Las Vegas (Camping and Blue Man Group)

  • Lake Powell

  • BYU football/basketball games and Jazz games

  • Our first triathlons and century bike rides

  • Fishing, hiking, camping, boating, and snowboarding

The first four years have been amazing and I can't wait for all the adventures that are yet to come. I love you Sean! Marrying you was the best decision I ever made!!!

Newcastle United vs. Arsenal!!!

Last Saturday we went to the Newcastle vs. Arsenal football match with some friends. I don't think we could've asked for more exciting game! (Although it didn't look like it in the first half...)

Arsenal scored at 1', 3', 10', and 26' to take a 4-0 lead into the half. Needless to say, the home crowd was pretty quiet while the Arsenal fans were chanting and cheering non-stop.

However, the second half turned into a different story. Only about 3 minutes into the half, an Arsenal player got a red card and was kicked out. Then Newcastle went on to score at 68' (PK), 75', 83' (PK), and 87' making one of the biggest comebacks ever in the Premier League!!!

Sean had fun with the camera and took TONS of pics!!!

I've been to a few professional games back in the states, and as fun as they've been, they don't come close to the energy/excitement from the crowd at this game (especially in the second half when the home crowd got back into things)!!! It was awesome!!!

Evidence of the post-game celebration...
(Don't worry, not ours... :)
